Paving The Path

Most of the time many of us are to set in our ways of not wanting to get outside of our comfort zone, and we wait on others to do what Yahweh (God the Father) has put in our heart for us to do. Do you think that God is trying to single you out to make a fool of you? Of course not! The reason most of us fear stepping out is because we do not trust in Him, and we doubt His power. If you do not step up to the calling put on your spirit then you are risking others' lives. Before you were born into this world, God knew that there would be a certain group of people that only you could make a great impact in their lives---planting a seed that would give them the chance to accept Him or not. If you reject that calling then God will replace you and find someone else to do the job. He did the same thing when it came to King Saul and David. Saul didn't do things as he was instructed by Him, he got off into witchcraft and ruined the calling that God had on his life, and God replaced him with a new king, David.

David was a great king indeed! But how great could have King Saul been if he had obeyed God? How many great things could he have done for the glory of our Creator? Don't be like Saul was, don't ignore the path that God is calling you to walk. If you choose to walk away, you will never know the mass of people you could have reached for the glory of God. Maybe you are someone's only life-line to Him. Don't think that just because you're a poet/poetess that you and your poetry don't matter. I, being called, a P.O.E.T. by Yahweh (God the Father) have used my poetry to reach many lives all over the world, mostly in communist countries. I will never get to meet those who read my poetry, face to face, but I will one day. How am I so sure? Because God put me here for a reason and gave me a gift to use it for the purpose of furthering His kingdom and His glory in those living in darkness. And I know that because I listened to God when He called me to this path, that many people who may never go to church (either by choice or because it's outlawed where they live), read a Bible, or listen to a preacher, will on the other hand read my poetry and thus receive the Bread of everlasting life---they wont be able to say they didn't get their chance. I ask that you do as I did four years ago, accept God's calling to use your poetry not for selfish reasons and glory, but to spread the Good News in a dying world that will only grow more darker in these last days.
