Gifted: The Few Who Are Chosen
Why does it seem that the most talented and gifted poets [and poetess'] are not serving the Messiah? Don't get me wrong, they are some really great and blessed Christian poets [and poetess'], but there is just something about the way those who do not follow Yahweh (God, the Father) use their words and structure them with such force that they do. Not all who do not follow are of such ellite poets [and poetess'], there are just a few, a handful living amongst us, that if they ever became followers of the Messiah and allowed Him to work through them, their poetry would be great soul winning poetry, not to meantion a powerful influence in the world of poetry.
The same thing goes for all the lyric poets (song writers/singer songwriters) out there. Some of the greatest are not found within the boundries of Christian music. I am not trying to praise evil, nor glorify darkness with my words---far be it from me, rather I am just recognizing such a wonderful talen given to these people that sadly they in turn used it for darkness.
I guess the old saying, "many are chosen, but the called are few", (or something like that) is correct in relating to this matter when it comes to the choices of the God-given talents of the gifted.
